In last night’s My Lead System Pro Webinar one of the things they talked about was making it a habit to be consistent and this is one area that a lot of people struggle with.  Think about it we make it a habit to watch our favorite TV show, smoke cigarettes, eat our favorite food, and neglect the thing we know we should be doing.

Your life is a series of habits some good and some bad, and if you wish to be successful then you will need to work on the bad habits. How many people went to school and worked just hard enough to graduate and then realized once they graduated that they probably should have put a little more effort in to it. I told my children and still tell my daughter Micaela that it’s a lot better to work hard in school so you won’t have to work so hard for the next 50 years, but do they listen? Well what can I say I didn’t listen to well to this information from my parents either.

Luckily there is away you can still make an income that is actually as good or better than the majority of the professional jobs out there, plus you can work when you want once you have your business setup and generating the cash flow that suits your lifestyle.

If you would like a chance to make some serious money then it will take some work and it will mean making good habits and being consistent.  If you want to make a habit of doing something then you need to do it for at least three weeks, and don’t let yourself slip for more than a week. Ask any network marketer that is successful and they will tell you that their success came from be consistent.

Set up a routine and stick with it and being the fact that this is a home business you have to make sure your family members respect your work schedule, and allow you to work. It is possible to make money make money when you are away from your home business, but being interrupted will mean that you are not being productive and that you are losing money.

Get yourself organized and make a list of things you need to accomplish each day and make your list a habit.

1. Post to your blog. Decide how often you are going to post to your blog or blogs and stick with it. If you have difficulties writing a blog post visit your up line’s blog and see what they are doing and if they are not blogging find someone who is. Look for ideas and don’t copy their work;-that would counter productive.
2. Post to your Twitter, Facebook, MySpace pages regularly – but don’t think you have to post something every hour that’s just going to be to exhausting and in the long run not very productive. Setup your social media accounts to add a post automatically when you update your blog.
3. Call your leads. Ask any networker and they will tell you that to be successful you have to be talking to people and letting them know about your business. If they left their name on your website they must have seen something that they liked so ask them how you can help them?
4. If your struggling call your up line; don’t call your down line to talk about your problems they are looking for guidance from you and your up line should be willing to hear you out and offer some form of help. This is a business where everyone has struggled starting out.
5. Keep your work area clean and clear of clutter. The last thing you want is to be there sitting trying to work and have a cluttered desk that keeps distracting you.
6. Limit your time in front of the TV. How many times have you sit down to watch a half hour show and three hours later you got up and went to bed?

If you want to be successful in your network marketing opportunity then it all boils down to getting yourself organized and sticking with your plan.
