Sleep loss is a growing problem in America. In a poll that was done in 2002 less than 30% of the adults polled said they were getting 8 hours of sleep or more during the week nights, and only 52% reported they were getting 8 hours of sleep per night on the weekends. Sleeping disorders were a common problem like difficulty falling asleep, waking a lot during the night, waking up too early and not being able to get back to sleep, and waking up feeling unrefreshed. Anyone that has sleep disorders lasting a couple of weeks should see their doctor to find the cause or a solution.
