Weight loss can be difficult but its not about dieting to lose
weight its about choosing a different lifestyle, Its about
choosing to have a Healthier And A More Productive Life.
Controlling your weight is possible if you exercise regularly,
and watching what you eat and how much you eat. The next time
you out driving through the drive through at McDonald¢s rather
than order their Value Meal and getting more calories and fat
than you need order a Happy Meal, I have plenty of friends that
do this and after all the only person that has to know is you.
There are so many fast food restaurants that give you way more
than you need, and that is because we are a people that want
more for less. We get this big meal in front of us and rather
than waste it we eat it all. When I 1st started to watch my diet
and learning how to loose weight. I become more aware of the
people when I went out to eat, and I suggest you do the same.
Not to judge the person themselves but their eating habits. Fast
food restaurants generally have a high number of over weight
people.
So how can you keep from gaining weight?
Try these tips
Eat few calories by cutting down on your portions, or decreasing the total amount of fat you eat to 30% or less of your total daily calories
Never skip any meals
Keep low calorie, low-fat snacks on hand, some suggestions would be pretzels, raw vegetables with a low calorie dip or fruit.
Just remember there is no difference between calories in low-fat foods than those found in fatty foods. Choose foods high in fiber such as whole-grain breads, cereals, pasta, rice, fruits and vegetables.
Drink plenty of water
Get plenty of sleep at least 8 hours - this is difficult in today¢s busy world but very important to your health
Perform some type of physical activity for at least 1 hour a day - this doesn't have to be all at one time, for example take a walk in the morning, and another walk in the evening
No matter your size always keep a positive attitude and never allow anyone to make you feel bad about yourself. People can say what they want, but it will only bother you if you already feel the same way about yourself. If you have a bad self image I would suggest you go to your library and check out some books or book cd's by Jack Canfield. I just got through listening to another one of his cd's and he makes sense.
